%JL%This is a short program to enable you to use your %H2%Z88%H2% as a chessclock
which will greatly improve your enjoyment of the game!

%JL%Chain the program and enter the names of the two players. You will then
%JR%be asked for the time each way in minutes. This is the time allowed for
%JL%each player to complete all of his or her moves for the game. The
%JR%screen will then move to the clock and, when each player is ready,
%JL%black should press a key to start white's clock. White can then make a
%JR%move and press a key to start black's clock. The game then continues
%JL%with each player making a move and then pressing a key to switch the
%JR%clocks. Rules state that the clock must be switched with the same hand
%JL%that made the move. The game ends with either a checkmate, a stalemate,
%JR%a resignation, or one players clock running out, in which case the
computer will tell you who has won.

%JR%%H2%Note%H2% that if you only have half an hour for a game then the time each
%JL%way should be set to 15mins. (not 30!) Turn the sound off at the panel
%JR%for a quiet game. The clock isn't limited to chess --- try speed
draughts, speed go or othello etc...
