Theseprograms are designed for modifyingexisting .AMP music files.  If youuse either of the programs, DON'T save the resulting music with theoriginal name!  This would overwriteyour original song.  You can use Transposer and Shifterwithout AMP, but to play back any AMPfiles you need the actual Antic MusicProcessor program (Antic Disk Bonus,June 1989).XXX  To complement the AMP utilitieswe've included three new AMP songs:  On side "A", BOLERO.AMP by Ravel isan epic composition that may makeyour hair stand on end. (If you enjoythis piece, do check out the movie"ALLEGRO NON TROPPO". It's a kind ofsocial parody filled with greatclassical music and facinatinganimation.)  Also on this side is JEDI.AMP (thetheme music from you-know what),whilst ELEANOR.AMP is on side "B".  Again, to play back the .AMP filesyou need Antic's Music Processor(Antic Disk Bonus, June 1989).  (You must run AMP.EXE and load the.AMP file to hear the song.)XXX  Side "B" contains this month'sincredible Disk Bonus:          MINIATURE GOLF  All you need to do to play thisgame is to turn your computer on withSide "B" up in drive one. The programuses its own BASIC XL to RUN, soremove all cartridges before booting.(XL/XE users hold down [OPTION].)  Several files make up this golfgame with all its holes and aconstruction set.  YOU CAN'T RUN ANYOF THE FILES ON SIDE "B" FROM ATARIBASIC.  Check the article for moreinformation on the various files.XXX  If you've ever tried typing inprograms from other issues, you knowhow hard it can be to get every lineentered perfectly.  To get youstarted, we've included theindispensable TYPOII.LST on disk.This is a LISTed version of our BASICproofreader program.
