This is version 2.2 of Arasan, a chess-playing program. It is
copyrighted, but may be freely distributed under the following
conditions:

1. No charge is made for it, except a nominal fee for distribution
or media.

2. The program is distributed unmodified.

This version of the program is a 16-bit executable for Windows 3.1.
You can also run it under Windows 95 or Windows NT, but you have
one of those operating systems, you will probably want to get the
32-bit version of Arasan instead. Note: future versions of this
program are likely to be 32-bit only.

To install this program, just copy the files to a directory on your
disk. If you want, you can add the program to a program group by
bringing up File Manager, selecting arasan32.exe, and dragging it into a
program group. This will create an icon in the group that you can
double-click on to run the program.

See the on-line help for more information. No formal support is
offered for this program, but you may send problems or questions to
jdart@netcom.com.
