Thank you for using ASiCalc v1.0
This readme contains important information about the latest changes and notices that
are not found in the documentation.

This is the first release of ASiCalc.

DESCRIPTION:
ASiCalc is a scientific calculator with many powerful features. It is an expression calculator
that calculates expressions exactly as you would write them on paper.
ASiCalc includes functions for statistical, financial, trigonometric calculations, in addition
to many other functions. A detailed help file is also provided.
It includes a units convertor and a equation solver.

REQUIREMENTS:
ASiCalc requires an IBM compatible machine with atleast 16 MB of memory running
Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP or Windows 2000.
The version of the Common Controls Library (comctl32.dll) installed on your computer
must be greater than or equal to 4.70. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0
or better or Windows 98 this component is already installed on your PC. You can
download this library from the Microsoft website, and most shareware sites. ASiCalc
may run under Windows NT 4.0 with the latest service packs, though this has not been
tested. This version has not been extensively tested under Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
A screen resolution setting of atleast 600x800 at 16-bit high color or better is recommended.

INSTALLATION:
Unzip the contents of zip, run asicalc.exe and follow instructions.

REGISTRATION:
ASiCalc is SHAREWARE. If you make use of ASiCalc you must register it.
The fee for a single user license is US$ 29.00. See "Registration" in the help file for
detailed instructions.
This is a 30 day time limited copy. After 30 days the advanced features of ASiCalc will
be unavailable.
