Hi gang,
--------

This file accompanies the PTBM2501 package, for making BOOTMAN.INI files.
The PTS Bootmanager version 2.5 uses this file to set the language of its
userinterface.

The use is simple: just copy the COM files to your BOOTMAN directory and run
them once. Or put them on the BootManager working disk and run them before
even having started the installation.

Using the software.
-------------------

Using it is quite straightforward. Just type the name, sit back and relax
(for one microsecond).

    MKH [Enter]

and the new BOOTMAN.INI has been made with the appropriate content.

The file BOOTLANG.COM is slightly different. It allows you to specify ANY
language for the involved file. If you enter:

        BOOTLANG IRQ[Enter]

The file BOOTMAN.INI will contain:

        IRQ

in which '' is an ASCII zero. These nulls are necessary. I don't know why,
but if you omit them, the software defaults back to it's native German again.

Re-assembling the source.
-------------------------

Please feel free to improve or adapt the software for your own particular
system. Take care however, that you may NOT distribute modified packages under
the old name. If you modify any part of the source, make a note of it and make
sure that all users are aware of it.

How to show your gratitude.
---------------------------

If you feel obliged to show your gratitude, please do one of the following:

 - send a postcard from your town to:

        Jan Verhoeven
        5012 GH - 272
        Netherlands

 - send an E-mail to:

        aklasse@tip.nl

The postcard is prefered.

I have tried the shareware approach in earlier programs, but that just
doesn't work (anymore?). Therefore I have adopted the GNU GPL approach and
since then I produce FREE SOFTWARE. Please read the GNU General Public License
which is also included in this file.

Still, all copyrights remain with me, the original author.

Bye for now,
