Files: Wamo94WC.zip
    which contains: Read.txt (this file), 1994.DTA, 1994.TMS & 1994.bat

Read.txt: ...you're reading it (I am anal)

1994.DTA the data file for use by F1ed.exe editor (place in folder where
gp.exe is). Must be renamed F1ed.DTA before use (see below)

1994.TMS the current 1994 teams & regular drivers (Alesi, Lehto etc. are
driving) after the Pacific (4/17). This is the same thing as a
WC "names" file--place in the gpsaves directory. (Verstappen &
Suzuki are listed as subs in vacant slots in the editor)

1994.bat put this in your gprix directory, type "1994" and wam, it will:
             1. copy the 1994.DTA file to F1ed.DTA (BEWARE, this will
                overwrite your existing F1ed.DTA file).
             2. open the F1ed.exe editor specifying the 1994.tms names file.
	     3. Now you are editing the new F1ed.dta. save changes with
the "w" button, or exit without changes with "x"
	     4. (here's the neat part) f1ed.DTA is copied back over
1994.DTA to preserve any changes you've made.

CAREFUL...my paths are C:\gprix (main directory), and
C:\gprix\gpsaves for names...you'll have to adjust the .bat
file if you use the longer default paths with MPS directory.

You can make other .bat file for each of your .DTA/.TMS sets,
and this eliminates the dos typing headache.

I've updated car colors for '94 (thanks Cosmo & Mike E. for the start).
I did the best I could with the Simtek & Pacific, having only a lousy
VHS tape summary of the Brazil GP. I think they are about as good as it
is worth the time to spend.

The numbers were derived from a combo of those found in 1993SEA.zip,
Autoweek 2/28/94, Autosport GrandPrix Review '93, ESPN's great coverage,
the F1ed editor files and the original WC figures. I've gone with using
real driver #'s rather than using the helmet chart which was painstakingly
created by C & M, I'm sure!!! CONFESSIONAL: I've slightly juiced Brundle
to the good for his sexual inuendo at a driver's press conference. The
qualifying #'s are purposely offset a bit from the race #'s to try to
make for more repositioning at the begining of each race (this might
hopefully create more retirements due to accicents!!! It is true--I just
do this subconsciously to see the wrecks). Also, the Pacifics
both take a ride on qualifying to give them a fair shake at the last two
spots on the grid against the Simtek team...the only team it seems they
might catch. Last note: if you're worried about the Williams #'s coming
back into the pack, note the poor performance of the cars without traction
control and the 1 finish in 4 starts for the team. (still whippin fast,
though!)

THANKS TO: the surfNAZIS for the editor (you owe me 40 hrs. of my life)

Cosmo Potapoff & Mike E. Brown for the 1993 season.
