MENU95 entry executes DOS CHKDSK to give
C disk / System RAM status. Then sends 
complete C drive file listing to

File compression/decompression program.

DOS DIRectory command.

FileAttrib (FATR.EXE, FATR.TXT)
Lists and changes file attributes
For example, make file, PRICES.WK1 im- possible to change, delete (read-only):
FATR arguments:  +R PRICES.WK1 
For help, ENTER with no arguments.

FileViewer (RE.EXE)
View contents of a file, searches
for specific text. Wraps long lines to
fit 95LX screen.

FindText (FINDTEXT.EXE, FINDTEXT.TXT)
Search for text across files.  
When prompted for a file specification,
enter file name or use wild cards: ?,*.
When prompted to "Enter text to find",
type in word, phrase, or characters,
you are looking for.  For example:
Find MEMOs where you used word
"budget".  For file spec, type:
C:\_DAT\*.TXT and for text, type BUDGET 

H&B_Game (HB.EXM)
System compliant Hearts & Bones game. 
Press F4 for help. 
An excellent game of logic that makes
rereading directions several times 
worthwhile.

Menu95 (MENU95.EXM, MENU95.LST, 
M95.BAT, MNU95.EXE, MENU95.TXT)
Menu program to run MS-DOS programs with
built-in apps. Press CTRL-<MENU> to
activate. Menu95 pops up over built-in 
apps except Lotus.  Must Exit MENU95
before you can pop up built-in apps. 
   CTRL-MENU starts loader MENU95.EXM
which calls MENU95.BAT which in turn
calls MNU95.EXE and MENU95.LST.  
MENU95.LST contains labels for MENU95
screen.  MENU95.BAT contains DOS calls
for each selection.

MENUHELP.TXT
This HELP file. You can modify this 
file from MEMO.  Edit:
C:\_DAT\MENUHELP.TXT 

Reboot (BOOT.COM)
Causes 95LX to reboot.

Stick (STICK.COM)
Automatically installed in 
(AUTOEXEC.BAT).  Makes CTRL, ALT keys
"sticky" like Shift and Char keys.
For example, to start MENU95.EXM, type
CTRL, let go, type MENU.

SYSMGR (SYSMGR.EXE)
Replacement for $SYSMGR call, fixes bug 
that sometimes prevents hotkey 
applications to start.  Automatically 
installed into AUTOEXEC.BAT

Tetris (HPTRIS.EXE, HPTRIS.TXT)
During game, HPtris pieces fall from
top of playing area.  When pieces form a solid row of blocks, that row vanishes.  Points accumulate as
blocks drop and rows disappear,
therefore you should try to form solid
rows whenever possible.  The game ends
when pieces stack up to top.
Falling pieces may be rotated, moved
horizontally, or dropped to bottom
of playing area.  

TigerFox (TFOX.EXM)
System compliant version of TigerFox 
game described in HP 95LX manual.

Timeout (TIMEOUT.COM) 
In argument box, type number of SECONDS
between key strokes before you want
HP95LX to automatically shut itself off.
Type 0 and 95LX never automatically
shuts off.  By default some 95LX
versions shut off after 180 seconds,
others after 300 seconds.  To regain
that default, type CTRL ALT DEL.  

UnZip (ZIPPER.COM)
Uncompresses files ending in .ZIP found
on CompuServe and other bulletin boards.
With ZIPPER.COM and the file to be
decompressed, type ZIPPER (filename)
from DOS prompt.  For example, to
get more help on Subscribers Disk
programs, UnZIP DOCS.ZIP by typing:
ZIPPER DOCS 
DOCS.ZIP contains within it a number of
compressed documentation files. 

WeeklyAppts (WEEKABK.EXM, WEEKABK.ENV,
& WEEKABK.HLP, WEEKABK.TXT)
Week-at-a-glance display of appointments
WEEKABK.ENV and WEEKABK.HLP must be in
C:\_DAT. Must save current APPT file for
up-to-date week-at-glance.  If get error
message, save current APPT file and exit
APPT and try again.

ZIPFile (ZIP.COM, ZIP.TXT)
File transfer program used during
installation.  Copy ZIP.COM from
Subscribers Disk to PC.  Type ZIP on PC
and start ZIP from MENU95 on 95LX.
