While filing PCBoard beta reports, you must submit them directly on the Salt
Air BBS in conference #5 (beta reports).

No beta reports are accepted in any of the echo mail conferences. If you are
trying to save money, we suggest telnetting into Salt Air at bbs.pcboard.com
or you may want to sit out the beta cycle and wait for release.

When reporting problems, please include the following information:

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

1) DATE & TIME of the executable being tested. Do *not* simply say that you
are running the 'latest' because what you consider to be the latest and
what we think is the latest may not be the same. To avoid assumptions, take
the time to look at the date/time on your executable and report it.

2) A description of the actions that are being performed by you (or your
callers or your system, if automated).

3) A description of the results (i.e. the problem) of the action described
above. (a capture file, if possible, can be worth a thousand words)

The very best way to get a problem fixed is to duplicate it. That is what our
task is here whenever we receive a report. Therefore, the better and more
detailed your report is, the more likely we will be able to act on it. To
that end, we highly recommend that you first try to duplicate the problem on
your own system before reporting it. The reason is that this gives you the
opportunity to discover which details are important for the report and
increases the likelyhood that we'll be able to use your report.
