WS-FTP is an Internet File Transfer program. FTP (File Transfer
Protocol) is a method of sending or receiving files from one
computer to another. To use WS-FTP, simply click the RUN button
below. When WS-FTP starts, a window will open for connect
information. You must enter a host name before clicking OK on
that screen. Additionally, most FTP sites (the places you
connect to for downloading files) allow anonymous logins. If
you do connect anonymously, then you enter your e-mail address
(ie. allarda@iadfw.net) as the password. Once you are connected,
you can change directories on the host by double-clicking on
the selections in the Host listbox. This changes directories
similar to the way clicking on Windows File Manager directories
works.
