Let's face the music: The PC speaker is not a CD player. On the
other hand it's amazing, how much "music" can be squeezed out of
a poor device, which is mostly used to produce just a beep.

Archive 4U-BTU10 contains 30 batch fragments UTUNE01-30.BTM with
short tunes suitable to be inserting in batch files: as noisy
error messages or to terminate unattended batch runs with a tune.

UTUNEs can be edited like any other ASCII texts, and a versatile
windowing editor speeds up tune writing considerably. Tempi of
tunes can often be altered by changing duration values with
      FIND/REPLACE.

For melodious results use lots of repeating, slowly altering
frequencies and short duration values. Frequencies from 0 - 20 are
inaudible and can be used for pauses between sequences and tunes.
Thus BEEP 0 18 pauses for one second. Good examples for this are
      UTUNE30.BTM and UT-SONG.BTM.
