0. Legal Junk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The author of this program makes no warranties whatsoever. I
am not responsible for anything that does or does not happen
to you if you use it. This includes warranties of fitness for
any particular purpose, as well as damages, loss of income, etc.

Oh, by the way, "Master of Magic" is a trademark of Microprose,
"Aria" is a trademark of Sierra Semiconductor, and everything else
    is somebody's trademark.

1. What is this thing?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a patch to make Master Of Magic use the Aria in native
mode. I noticed that MOM didn't directly support Aria, so I
    decided to fix it.

2. How do I use this thing?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
First, put the files from this archive into the directory where
    you installed MOM.

Next, run MOMARIA.BAT. It will rename a couple of files.

Finally, run the INSTALL program that came with MOM. Choose
"Aria Chipset" - it should be on the list right after the
"Pro Audio Spectrum Plus/16" setting. You shouldn't have to
configure the card, so ignore that button.

You should probably also put a copy of GM1.BNK or GM2.BNK in
your MOM directory. These files are available via anonymous FTP
from the Aria Internet Department. Their address is:
            ftp.wi.leidenuniv.nl

3. How does this thing work?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I made a couple of changes.

First, I took the Adlib Gold drivers out of SNDDRV.LBX, since the
MOM installation program listed them as "Not Applicable" anyway.
I replaced them with ARIAXMID.ADV and ARIADIG.ADV, which I got
from the Aria Internet Department at:
            ftp.wi.leidenuniv.nl

I then also patched the INSTALL.DAT file to say "Aria Chipset"
instead of "Not Applicable" - kinda makes it easier to pick the
    right card, no?

4. What if I don't like this thing?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you don't like it, I'm sorry. But, as the "Legal Junk"
section states, I'm not responsible for what it does or does
    not do.

I know it works for me, and I am using patch version 1.2, which I
highly recommend to anyone who is using the original 1.0 game or
    patch version 1.1.

If you decide to change back to the original drivers, simply
run MOMARIA.BAT again, and it will restore your original files.
You will have to run INSTALL again to choose the correct sound
    card.
