I suppose windows will start without your Aria card??
I don't have any problems,
Are you using an IDE-cdrom ?? (I heard they gave some problems) or are you 
using the an interface on the aria-card.

I can't imagine the sound part of the card is interfering with the 
32-bit-access.
If so I have no idea and I can't help.
