Subject: Re: thought and questions on Aria

Your problems with mixing multiple sounds just like the problem I'm having
with the new Monty Python disc. Horrible distortion, but not always
during the same passage, and if I pause and return it sounds ok for a while
and then goes bad again. A particular passage may work fine when played
and then the next time it comes up distorted.

I had posted to this group asking if there would be any way to run the
Aria card with SB emulation in Windows to see if it might work properly,
but didn't get any useful responses.

Please post or email me directly if you figure this problem out, and I'll
do the same.

Jim Holloway.
