I don't know but what version of your ariadriver are you using ??. The
latest(?) driver is available with FTP: ftp.wi.leidenuniv.nl /pub/audio/aria
I hope this will solve your problem.

Why do you want to try this ?? The Aria sound is much better than the SB
Emulation.
