1. Introduction

This document contains installation instructions, and contact 
information for ObjectWorld Inc.


2. Brief Product Description
----------------------------

CallAttendant Pro is a professional call processing system that allows you to 
define how you want your calls handled while you are away from the phone.
CallAttendant Pro works with Unimodem/V compatible voice modems and other 
voice compatible TAPI devices to provide custom call answering 
solutions to the small business and home office professional user. 

CallAttendant Pro supports up to two (2) telephone devices, allowing
two phone calls to be answered simultaneously on two telephone lines. 

CallAttendant Pro also provides network capabilities by allowing users
of CallAttendant Client (a companion product) to access their CallAttendant 
mailboxes remotely over a TCP/IP local area network (LAN).

CallAttendant Pro is released as a time-limited shareware package.

4. Installation Intructions (VERY IMPORTANT):
---------------------------------------------

CallAttendant Pro is composed of two components: the CallAttendant 
Pro Server, and the CallAttendant Client. The Server component
answers phone calls, etc., and the Client component allows remote
mailbox access and monitoring over a TCP/IP Local Area Network (LAN).

In order to use CallAttendant Pro, you need to install these 
components correctly. The Server component should be installed
first on the system that contains the voice modems or advanced voice
cards.

Once the server is installed, configured correctly (including modems), 
and running, the Client should be installed on machines that need 
access to the CallAttendant mailboxes.


The CallAttendant Pro Server component is installed by running the

  CAPRO.EXE (or CAPROR.EXE, or CAPROC.EXE)
  
self-extracting installer.


The CallAttendant Client component is installed by running the

  CACLIENT.EXE (or CACLIENTR.EXE, or CACLIENTC.EXE)
  
self-extracting installer.



5. Notes
--------

5.1 Using the CallAttendant Client with CallAttendant 2.0.x

CallAttendant 2.0.x and all previous versions do not support the 
CallAttendant Client. Installing the CallAttendant Client on 
system with such a version of CallAttendant will cause 
CallAttendant to cease to function, and CallAttendant will 
require re-installation before it will operate correctly.

5.2 CallAttendant Client Licenses

CallAttendant Client licenses are puchased independently from
CallAttendant Pro licenses. Visit ObjectWorld's web site to
