AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Protect the privacy of your PC by logging
all user activity while you are absent !

PC#Protect logs keystrokes, application names and access times
and stores this information in pcplog.txt. This also includes
hidden passwords (!!!) - so use this software with care.

The unregistered evaluation version is fully functional with two restrictions:
It has a 300 keystrokes limit after which it stops recording and the start-up
pop-up can not be disabled.

***How to install:***

Easy 1,2,3 setup !

1. Run the pcpro30.exe and copy the files to any directory of your choice
(or manually unzip the pcpro30.zip file, depending from where you downloaded,
because some distributors do only distribute 'pure' zip files).

2. At its first start it automatically completes the installation and
   displays this README.TXT !

3. Now select the options of your choice in the Control Center. Do not forget
to SAVE them when your done. If you have selected AUTOSTART ( = default)
simply reboot your PC to start the keystroke logging.

IF you want to start PCProtect manually start the control center and press the
RUN PC#PROTECT button. If the button IS pressed, PC#Protect IS already running.

==>Note: If the program is run in the STEALTH mode nothing
==>(no popup, no icon, no task bar entry, no task list entry etc.) appears !!!
==>If "Backdate logfile" is active, even the logfile date remains unchanged !

Now you can type something (within an editor, not just on
the keyboard !) to test PC#Protect or simply record the used applications.

>>> All recorded activity is stored in PCPLOG.TXT
which is created in the directory of the pcpctrl.exe file resp.
the current path shown in the Control Centerdialog.

*** Want to put PC#Protect in a different directory ?

1. Copy the 3 files syspcp.exe, syspcp.dll and pcpctrl.exe in the
directory of your choice.

2. Start the Control Center, Save and Exit ! That is all !
The Control Center automatically adjust any neccessary internal settings.

*** How to uninstall ***

(a) run uninst.exe and follow the steps:

The PC#Protect uninstallation removes PCP *completely* and without
    any trace from your system.

    OR

(b) to manually UNinstall PC#P switch the autostart option off,
sure logging is currently off and then delete all supplied files.
