Quickroute 4.0 Release 4
========================

Quickroute 4 is an integrated electronic design system for professional
engineers, hobbyists and education. It combines schematic design and
capture, mixed mode (analgue and digital) simulation, and PCB design
with autorouting and CADCAM support. Quickroute 4 includes advanced
features like multiple schematic sheets, net-list import/export, DXF,
SPICE and WMF file support, engineering change (automatic updating of
a PCB from a schematic) and Gerber import/viewing. This version of
Quickroute 4 is full featured with support for designs of up to 40 pins.

Freeware. May be used freely for non-commercial and non-profit making
purposes. Commercial versions are available (see below).


Installation
============

The file QR40_404.EXE is a self extracting installation program that will
install Quickroute 4 on your computer in the selected directory. All files
are placed in the selected directory except for CTL3D32.DLL which will be
placed in your Windows system directory if not already present. You can also
UNINSTALL the software using QR40_404.EXE.

Requirements
============

Quickroute 4 is compatible with Windows 95 and NT.  Quickroute 4 can also
be used with Windows 3.1 providing that Win32s (v1.25 or later) is installed.
Quickroute 4 requires a 386 or better processor. A co-processor is desirable
but not required. We recommend a minimum of 8M memory although it may run
with less.
