or on every hour (60 min).

Time Format-Choose between standard 12 hour AM/PM format or 24 hour
format.

6. VOICE FILE DETAILS

The voices come from files stored in the WAV directory in the main TalkClock
directory. There are 2 subdirectories in the WAV directory: female and male.
The different gender voices are contained in the respective directories.

These directories and files must NOT be moved or renamed. The TalkClock program
references these files by exact name and will generate an error message if it
cannot find the files.

The naming conventions of the files are:

First letter is always "f".

2nd letter designates 12 or 24 hour format (12 is "_"; 24 is "m"). All minute
files are used with both formats and have an "_" with the exception of the "00"
minute, pronounced "o'clock" in 12 hour format and "hundred" in the 24 hour format.

3rd letter is "h" for hour or "m" for minute.

4th letter always "_".

5th and 6th letters are the minutes and hours; "oc" for "o'clock"; "am"/"pm"; or
"q0" for 0000 in 24 hour format.

The sounds were recorded using the standard Microsoft Sound Recorder application.
It will take awhile, but feel free to record your own voices and substitute them in
place of the default program voices.

8. CONTACTING THE AUTHOR

Please send me your comments and suggestions. My email is "callow@jps.net".
This is the first program I have released to the public. I originally began this
project as a way to learn and practice Visual C++. I only do this in my spare time,
so I may not be able to respond promptly or at all. Technical support will also
be limited. Thanks for checking out TalkClock!
