Navigating Screens and Menus

  Using a Mouse...

A click on any menu item (Main Menu) will cause the associated
menu box to appear. (Print is the only item that has a pull-
down menu, all others execute directly).

A click on another menu item will cause it's sub-menu to dis-
    play.

A click on a pull-down item (Print) will cause that item to
    execute.

A click on a screen prompt will cause that item to be selected,
the field just left will be completed.

A click on a screen button will cause that button to be
selected. A double click will cause the function to execute.

A click on a check box will cause that item to be toggled from
off to on or vice versa.

  Using the Keyboard

The right and left arrow keys can be used to select a menu item,
the <Enter> will cause it to execute or to display a sub-menu.

The up and down arrow keys can be used to select an item from a
sub-menu, the <Enter> will cause it to execute.

Menu shortcut keys are shown in the sub-menus, if you use a short-
cut combination you will select and execute that item.

The highlighted character in each menu item can be used with the
<Alt> key (Alt+P for Print) to select the menu item.

A click on a list box item (tables) will cause that item to be
selected. A double click will execute that item.

Tab and Shift+Tab will move you forward and back through screen
fields. Both Tab and Shift+Tab will complete the field currently
    highlighted.

The arrow keys (left, right, up down) will cause new buttons to
    be selected.

The up-arrow and down-arrow keys can be used to scroll through
    list box (table entries).

Enter and space-bar execute a button when selected.

    Space-bar toggles a check box when high-lighted.

Pressing <Esc> on a high-lighted field restores it original
value. <Esc> also automatically executes the 'cancel'.

Enter automatically executes the 'OK' unless another button
    is selected (high-lighted).
